Ingredients

  • 24 ounces powdered sugar
  • 3 cups smooth peanut butter
  • 1/2 pound butter softened to room temperature
  • 10 ounces chocolate chips
  • 1/4 tablespoon shortening or coconut oil

Instructions

  • Combine the powdered sugar, peanut butter, and butter in a large mixing bowl. Mix by hand until creamy.
  • Shape the mixture into small balls and chill.
  • Melt the chocolate chips and shortening over boiling water in a double boiler.
  • Dip the peanut butter balls into the melted chocolate using a toothpick. Place them on waxed paper.
  • Once the chocolate has hardened, refrigerate in an airtight container.
