I think toasted would be an ideal topping as opposed to Graham cracker crumbs!

This was sooo delicious! I even made it into a breakfast protein smoothie by replacing the ice cream with a vanilla protein shake!

  5. Love your site! This Sonic recipe looks sensational. Gonna try it this weekend! Do I buy coconut cream in the grocery store?

      1. Hi everyone, I think she means the cream of coconut you buy to make pina coladas with. It’s in a can at most grocery stores where the wine/beer/mixed drinks are. Also most larger liquor stores carry it. Coco Lopez is the brand that’s sold where I live.

      2. Coconut milk has the liquid consistency of cow’s milk and is made from simmering one part shredded coconut in one part water. Coconut milk is the basis of most Thai curries.

Coconut cream is much thicker and richer. It is made from simmering four parts shredded coconut in one part water. The cream that rises to the top of a can of coconut milk is also considered coconut cream.

Cream of coconut is a sweetened version of coconut cream, and is often used for desserts and mixed drinks. Because of the added sugar, it is usually not interchangeable with coconut cream. It also contains other additives.

It is usually located in the Asian section of grocery stores.
